The first AGC Chapter Meeting of the semester will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 6:00 PM in Marston 132. The guest speaker will be a UMass alumni, Kyle Murphy, from Baltazar Contractor out of Ludlow, MA. Kyle was the former President of the UMass AGC chapter and is now a project engineering supervisor. He is passionate speaker and wishes to share his presentation ”An Introductory Discussion About the Construction Indsutry”.
Remember to bring your resume if you would like Kyle to give you feedback after the meeting. We will also hold sign-ups for our “Atkins Roundabouts and Olympia Oaks Site Development Field Trip” and Habitat for Humanity after the meeting. As always, pizza and soda will be provided.
Just a reminder that we will also collect $10 member dues for the academic year. The dues help us to provide refreshments at meetings and transportation to events and activities throughout the year. First year students may join for free. Nonmembers may attend the meeting.
